I am proud to say that most of my clients have been referred to me through word of mouth recommendations. As a thank you for spreading the word about me, I am so excited to announce the Karen Galli Photography Referral Program:

The Simple Facts

• Receive a $50 gift card toward prints or photography for each referral
• A $50 gift card and a thank you will be mailed when a new client contacts Karen Galli Photography for a photo session and mentions your name.
• There is NO limit to the number of gift credits you can receive. If you refer 4 friends to Karen Galli Photography, you’ll receive $200 in gift cards.
• Gift cards are available in $50 increments but they can be combined.
• Gift cards are transferrable! You can use the gift cards yourself, or you can share with friends. Gift cards must be presented for redemption, so be sure to keep them in a safe place.
• Although there is no expiration, it is preferred that the gift cards be redeemed within one year of receipt. Karen Galli Photography reserves the right to modify the referral program at any time without notification.

I’ve been busy all morning saying “thank you” to my clients for their referrals. I’ll be dropping the gift cards in the mail this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled!

Schools Out, Hear Them Shout…(summer classes for kids)

“Schools Out, Hear them shout,

Pouring down the rain spout,

On the chairs, On the stairs,

Kids all over ev’rywheres.”

Summer is just around the corner! This summer, I will be teaching a photography enrichment class at Fountain Hills High School for 3rd-8th grade.

The classes will meet

Monday-Thursday

June 4th-June 28th

1 1/2 hours each day

3rd-5th grade - 8-9:25 OR 11:30-12:55

 6th-8th grade - 9:30-11 OR 1:00-2:30

So…

Encourage your child’s love of photography! Through hands-on activities we will learn the basics in camera operation, composition, and other tips to enhance your image. Basic computer processing skills used to prepare photos for printing. Bring your camera and let’s have some fun this summer!

WOW – I’m a 1 year old!

Yesterday was my first 1st birthday!

Well, technically Karen Galli Photography’s 1st birthday

On April 12, 2011 I pressed the publish button and www.karengalliphoto.com went live. As I’m sure is true with any business, this first year has been a roller coaster of emotions and learning experiences. But at the end of the day, or year I should say, I still sing along to the radio when I’m going to a photo shoot and I still sing along to the radio all the way home. I love my job!

My birthday wish was to see what happened to those photos I took.
